A magnifying glass resting on the bar chart of a printed market report.
Fig. 1Every engagement starts with the evidence, and with someone willing to read it closely.

Is this market worth entering? Why aren’t customers choosing our brand, and what would change their minds? Is our message reaching the people who matter? Which sustainability goals will actually pay off? We answer these questions with evidence, then help you act on them, shaping the market strategy, the brand and customer experience, and the ESG plan that turns the answers into growth.

We combine deep market and industry expertise, robust analytical capability and practical execution support, to help clients make informed decisions, build stronger brands and close impactful strategic partnerships.

The firm is led by Lillian Mbayiwa, a senior executive with nearly thirty years of leadership at global and pan-African institutions, including Old Mutual, Standard Chartered and United Bank for Africa. She has led marketing, public affairs and sustainability across 14 African markets, and that experience now underpins every MarketLens engagement.

What follows is a brief on what we do, how we think, and who you would be working with.
